The Triple Threat
Wanto to know about us? AWESOME-SAUCE! We are an open book, and sometimes that can be a good “thang” and other times well, you will find out in our blog. Any-who, the short of it is; we are 3 triplet sisters connected at the hip! We find excuse after excuse to spend time together and we are pretty damn obsessed with our life and lifes possibilitites!
We kinda stumbled upon this amazing world of essential oils with Young Living. As we've gotten older and kids have come into the picture we started to take note of our health and wellness and the products we use in our homes. Krista Gene introduced all of us to Young Living Essential Oils, and all 3 of us were instantly obsessed! We found out we could be crafty with oils, save $$$ (we make thrift stores our bit$$) with oils, and live healthier lifestyles all will oils! Young Living Essential Oils changed our lives and we started dropping that oily knowledge on others!
At 29 years old our brains combined and a light bulb went off. HEY! LETS START A BIIIIZZZNASSSS (please pronounce this way, its more fun)! Makes perfect sense, 3 people who know nothing about running a business, all working full time jobs , and ⅔ of us just had babies (rather cute ones btw, just saying), sounds like the perfect thing to do! But sometimes you have to go with your gut and we have never made a better decision together! We now share products we love and the best part, we Love doing it!
And if we were not busy enough because our motto is, “sleep when your dead”....
Behold, 3 Spoiled Sisters was born. Our essential oil jewelry business that allows us to spend even more time together, make jewelry, whip up essential oil infused products, occasionally sit at vender shows where wine is served by 9:30 am, and be bad ass business builders!
We have a little bit of fire lit beneath our bottoms, we are all about Family, Freedom, and FUN! We think everyone should join that movement!
Hi, I’m Krista Gene! The middle child...yeah that’s right even when you pop out 30 seconds apart at birth there is still a middle child. YUP!, Middle child Syndrome still exist in the land of multiples. That is until 29 years later when I said YES to an opportunity, which in turn started a snowball effect of greatness and fulfillment for my womb mates and I (Jenna and Sam would try to take my glory but they are still too busy thanking me, fanning me , and feeding me grapes).
If there is one thing everyone should know about me, it is, I’m not scared to go for it! I’m a workhorse and have always been “Ms. Independent” if you will. I like to take risks and do things big! For example, my first tattoo was my whole rib cage (like I said go big or go home).....and the 3 to follow that weren't exactly subtle. I hardly know what the word “Subtle” means.
Now, the first born (who is super bossy btw but has no real power) wanted each of us to share 3 things we would bring to a deserted island and our biggest pet peeve. So here we go!
3 Things I would NEED to SURVIVE on a deserted island:
1. Battery operated hair straightener
2.A $hit load of batteries for the hair straightener
3.A back up for #1 and #2
Now, the ridiculousness of what I just wrote likely has your eyes rolling in the back of your head but those that truly KNOW me are not surprised at all. I would also say black eyeliner, BUUUUUUT I know that will be on Jenna’s list and I can steal from her (that's another thing about me, I’m extremely smart) .
Biggest Pet Peeve:
Ok, when someone says to me “I just don’t have time” . Like I almost want to pull a “Linda Blaire” (and if you haven't seen the original exorcist movie, 1. You need to and 2. Youtube it and watch her head do a 360! ). All we have on this earth is time and I feel it is important to make the most of it! If something is a priority you have time for it.
This will lead me nicely into my favorite quote. "Time=Life, therefore, waste your time and waste your life, or, master your time and master your life."
Now go master your life,
<3 Krista Gene
Yes, we do have our own personalities....
Hi, I'm Jenna! The first born, the life of the party, and the executive decision maker, which naturally makes me the boss! I say this because I am the last wombmate to still remain free of children! I like to venture off on the weekends for an occasional cocktail , sitting on a deck , listening to live music. And by weekends I mean monday-Sunday, and by occasionally I mean everyday, if life would allow it!
In other words I really really like my freedom! for me the definition of freedom has changed though. I used to think freedom was having a Saturday and Sunday off ....until this year when I woke up! I want everyday of my life to feel like a Saturday and Sunday. I want to wake up and be excited for the day! If I'm going to be "The Boss" of my triplet clan, I need to be a boss of my own life!
Now to explain myself, it's safe to say I'm a touch controlling. I like to do my research before diving head first into something, but once i've found something I am passionate about , I am 100% invested. I am sometimes overly passionate about things, and this can lead to Bi-atch land lol. One thing I am very passionate about is animals! In my world pets have their own couch, they get ump-teen play toys, doggie treats and they are told they are loved 20 times a day and are greeted with "mommy's home". Anything less is just really not acceptable to me! so crazy animal lady is really an understatement!
Before I get going on a save the animals crusade, i'll tell you a bit more about myself. I'm about a funky hair color and an awesome outfit for a discounted price! There's a good possibility I will overdress for every occasion and I feel sequins should have more of a place in "everyday wear". Ya know, I'm running out of bachelorette parties to attend, and I have 10 sequined dresses that need their time in the spotlight! If you feel this way about sequins then don't you dare let anyone dull your sparkle! I am straight up obsessed with my friends, planning adventures, and being the best Auntie Jenna to all the kids in my life! Yeup! I'm totally the cool aunt! oh, and I loves my hubby! he's supportive and deals with all my craziness, including the sisters!
3 things I would NEED to SURVIVE on a deserted island :
1. Black eyeliner ( I don't want the rescue team thinking i'm dead when they finally arrive.)
2. A TV with ALL seasons of The Kardashians ( the only show I can watch repeatedly with no chance of getting bored.) ( its okay to start judging, im busy being awesome.)
3. Pictures of my fur children ( my motivation to return home) ( realizing as I write this, the answer should be a picture of my husband , it's a good think he reallllly likes me).
Now while all of you sit there reading these , saying "omg, i can't believe she wouldn't say HER SISTERS!" I have to laugh, bc multiples never board a plane, a boat, a freaking kayak without eachother , so it's natural we will all be there together sillies!
Biggest Pet Peeve:
Have you ever seen a girl in high heels and there is a one-two inch gap from her heel to the back of her shoe! How are you walking!? How has your shoe not fallen off!? This should NEVER EVER happen! Do you have a blow up foot? is it deflating?....I just can't handle it! please if necessary wear a shoe a half size smaller, it will save you... from me. Remember I'm passionate about stuff!!!
So while you digest that I will leave you with my favorite qoute, " Never be afraid to pursue your PURPOSE, just because you are afraid of what others may think of you."- The Oola Guys
Do you Boo Boo & wear sequins,
Hi I am Sam. I am the slightly chunkier sister...so the original Kloey Kardashian of the family, but with every extra pound comes more humor and wit which makes me the most likable triplet so I am OK with the thickness.
OK so a little more about me: I flipping love my kid...and just like every other mother in the world, I think she shines brighter than everybody else including celebritie's kids names, like APPLE and BLUE. Yeup, a regular old kid named Allyson trumps them all. What I am sure passionate about it taking care of her the best way I can. Oils have helped me do this along with some serious perseverance, willpower, and lack of need for any REM sleep (those that know me know my struggle). haha.
3 Things I would NEED to SURVIVE on a deserted island:
1. A lighter...because I am the smart one, and the only thinkg worse than being cold is lacking a piece of pizza after eating a salad.
2: a bag of brown rice. why?
3.because the 3rd thing I am going to bring is a ever lasting supply of La Choy sweet and sour Sauce (nobody is going hungry on my island).
Biggest Pet Peeve:
when people use the excuse of being tired to substantiate acting like an A$$ hole( my kid woke up 8-12 times a night for the first 1.5 years...I was never an A-hole)....and as my father likes to say "You can sleep when your dead"....so suck it butter cup...and don't be a jerk!
I leave you with a quote, "To be successful, regardless of the field, one needs to be a participant in the field of battle, rather than a spectator." Charles Duncan
The funny one,
